Card and Matching Gift Bag

Note to self, don't make cards entirely from mirri and holographic card, they're almost impossible to photograph!  My camera did not like these projects so apologies for the dodgy pics.  I've actually made three of these sets, they're for my husband to give colleagues for Christmas, they're filled with posh soap and bath bombs.  The gift bags were cheap as chips, six for £1, but the gift tags let them down so I decided to make new ones and make Christmas cards to match.
The card was simply made form silver mirri, textured silver card and red holographic card, using a Cuttlebug embossing folder to make the tree topper.  The sentiment was heat embossed with silver powder, the stamp is from a much used Papermania Christmas sentiments set.  Some red gingham ribbon, a matching bow and three large glitter domes complete this super shiny card.
The tag for the gift bag was made with the same ingredients as the card, but this time I used a Papermania mini embossing folder to make the topper and I used a Tonic punch along the bottom edge to add a bit of interest.

I'm entering this project in the following challenges -
2 Sisters - #120 - Christmas Sparkle
Card Makin' Mamas - silver or gold
Crafts 4 Eternity - #100 - Christmas Chaos
CI Paints - gift tags
Pan Pastel - #47 - gift
The Ribbon Girl - Christmas

  5. Gorgeous and so festive. Know exactly what you mean about taking pictures of that card - nightmare. Just taking ordinary pictures in this depressing dank weather is difficult. Use a flash and everything is too stark. Not enough light and they are blurred.
