I Love Promarkers DT Card, My Mum's Birthday Card!

It's Wednesday so that means challenge time at I Love Promarkers, this time we'd like to see "Anything But Square".  We're sponsored by Marianne for this challenge, with a super prize for our winner.  This challenge lasts longer than our usual week, until the 2nd of January, as it's Christmas so you have plenty of time to play along.

My Mum's birthday is on Christmas Eve and this is the card I've made for her.  The bird cage shaped blank is from Craftwork Cards, it started off white, I coloured it with a gold Promarker, gave it a spritz of Spray and Sparkle and ladled on the Stampendous Gold Halo Mix round the heart shape, using Pinflair glue for glitter to keep it firmly in place.  The flowers on the outside of the cage were made with Marianne dies and those inside were made with a Woodware punch.  The sentiment is a stamp from a Magazine freebie set, I coloured it with Promarkers and edged the tag shape with Glamour Dust.  The oh so cute peacock inside the cage is a Doodle Pantry digi I won in a recent challenge, he's been coloured with Promarkers and then several different colours of glitter were added to the "eye" markings on his tail.  I then gave the glittered areas even more shine with some Anita's 3D Gloss, this helps to prevent the glitter shedding too.  His perch was made with my Spellbinders Cherry Blossom dies and I finished my card with gold mirri Card Candi, a teal bow and some seed bead eyes.
