A Tiny Envelope

Last night was craft night, and after tea and my home baked strawberry and white chocolate cookies, we all made cards with little envelopes on.  The template for the envelope was in Quick Cards Made Easy, there were some lovely card ideas for using it too.  Here's what I came up with.
The yummy papers are My Mind's Eye, to which I've added some chocolate brown pearl card and bright pink textured card.  I inked all the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.  The little pull out tag was made from paper from the same stack, a secret message can be written on the back.
The bird cage was made with a Spellbinders die and the bird on the branch was made with a Marianne die.  I added some ribbons, brown organza and bright pink satin, layered together and finished with a sprinkling of pink pearls.

    I must remember when I visit you on a Tuesday Wendy to avert my eyes from the night before eats because they always sound scrummy.

    A very pretty card and so nice how you have carried the bird theme to the tag.
