OK, time for another crafting confession (there seem to have been a few of those lately!), I bought myself some lovely new stash.........again. I couldn't resist this new Riverside Revels range from Helz Cuppleditch and Dovecraft, I bought an 8x8 paper pack, two stamps and some matching flowers.......oops. The papers are stunning, bright and cheerful, and some of them have a lovely linen texture. The images are sooo cute, I barely got in the door with my new purchases before opening the packaging and inking up this lovely stamp!
The stamp is lovely and detailed, it took a while to colour but was great fun, it made a nice change to colour something so vibrant. Thank heavens for Promarker fine nibs!
I inked all the edges with Barn Door or Mowed Grass Distress Inks for a bit of definition.
The sentiment is a die cut from Craftwork Cards and the flowers were made with punches. A sunny yellow ribbon and four red pearls finish it off.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Shopping Our Stash - #89 - birthday - old stash, ribbon and pens, new stash, papers and stamp
Sketch Saturday - #245 - sketch
Forever Friends - animal, butterflies or birds
Incy Wincy - add texture, I used textured papers
Chocolate, Coffee Cards - #32 - hobbies, I chose boating
Crafty Ann's - #82 - tie a yellow ribbon
Milk Coffee - make it cute
