Spring has Sprung

I decided to make a start on my Easter cards and thoroughly enjoyed using zesty citrus colours alongside this cute Penny Black stamp.
I coloured the stamped image with Promarkers and inked the edges of the topper with Squeezed Lemonade and Mowed Grass Distress Inks.
The papers are Papermania Spring Chic, to which I added some lemon pearl card and inked all the edges with more Mowed Grass.
To make the daffodils, I punched flowers with a Nellie Snellen punch, snipped of the serrated edges to make smooth petals, and added a piece of upside down Card Candi, which I shaped with a ball tool to make more of a cup shape, to the centre of each.  A blob of Yellow Stickles in the middle of each Candi is meant to look like the stigma.
To embellish, I used a yellow ribbon, a bow, some tiny orange pearls and little green gems.

    Oh Wendy what a lovely Easter card. I had forgotten that Easter is very early this year. What a wonderful image and I just love love love your colours used and your added embellishments.
