Patchwork and Poppies

I found a lovely sketch over on Incy Wincy which is perfect for tall, thin images like this one, I couldn't wait to get layering.  I'm sure it's a layout I'll go back to again several times.
The stamp I used for this one is Sheena Douglass, from the Little Bit Sketchy range, I've coloured it with Promarkers and added some Scattered Straw Distress Ink round the edges of the topper.
The patterned papers are magazine freebies and look rather like fabric so I've distressed the edges and added faux stitching to make them look even more like material.  I used leather look paper for the bottom layer which I embossed with a Sheena Douglass embossing folder.  The sentiment stamp is from the same stamp set as the image.
The final touches are assorted buttons and some gold gems.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Incy Wincy - Sketch
Penny's Paper-Crafty - #123 - Anything Goes
Top Tip Tuesday - #99 - Say It Isn't Sew
Gingerloft - Torn and Distressed
My Time to Craft - #218 - Stitching
Dilly Beans - Flowers

Art Impressions - #108 - Layer It Up
