Last night was craft night and after our tea and home made bakewell cupcakes topped with a mini bakewell tart, we got down to work making shaker cards.
I decided to go down the Christmas route with mine, using a Michael Powell stamp coloured with Promarkers and snowy acetate.
As the image is quite detailed, I kept the card fairly simple using white textured cardstock and some dark blue glitter card. For the stopper element I used a Martha Stewart border punch, a ribbon, a bow topped with a snowflake brad and a Papermania sentiment. The shaker box was filled with Pinflair Ice Diamond with some Glamour Dust mixed in for extra sparkle and I finished off with some silver domed gems.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Melonheadz Friends - Fancy Folds
Ooh, La, La - Easel Cards
Robyn's Fetish - #155 - Easel Cards
52 Christmas Card Throwdown - Colour Challenge, light blue, dark blue and white, my light blue is the brad and shading on the snow
Brown Sugar - #37 - Step or Easel Card
Patty's Creations - #65 - Make it Sparkle
Winter Wonderland - No Red or Green
CRAFT - #202 - Christmas
