Mica, Glitter and Gloss

We had our usual girlie craft session last night, this week we played with mica powders, as we had a couple of mica virgins in our midst.
I had a real job to capture the shimmer of the mica powder on camera, especially as the weather is so dark and wet, it looks so much prettier in reality.
The mermaid stamp is from Clarity, I haven't had her out for a play for a while, she a beauty, and nice and large too.  I stamped her with Perfect Medium and simply brushed on mica powders in greens and blues, added some Star Dust Stickles to the bubbles, and Anita's 3D Gloss to her tail.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
To mat the image, I used some lovely, textured, iridescent paper, or "that squadgy paper" as my Mum calls it.  The other papers are from Craftwork Cards, including the yummy glittered stuff.
I couldn't decided whether to use the pale blue organza ribbon or jade satin ribbon, so I layered them up and used both, opting for a double decker bow too.  Some Hobby House dazzlers finish my card off.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
The Crazy Challenge - #163 - Fairy Tale
Glitter 'n' Sparkle - #69 - Bling It Up
