I really like this Creative Expressions stamp for male cards, this one's for a plane buff so I thought it would be a suitable image. The sentiment stamps are from two different Papermania sets.
After stamping with Stazon, I inked the whole piece with Tea Die Distress Ink and spritzed with water, then dried with a heat gun for a vintage look. Then it was in with the Distress Markers and a water brush to pick out key elements of the design, leaving others areas uncoloured. I'm forming quite an attachment to my Distress Markers! They'll never replace my Promarkers, but I'm really enjoying playing with them, they're such good quality and so rich in pigment.
Because the stamp is so large, I kept the layout very simple, using Papermania Chronology papers.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Hi, my name's Wendy Fraser, otherwise known as Papersniffer, and yes, I really do love the smell of craft paper! I'm a married, stay at home Mum of one living in Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland and I'm passionate about all thing papercraft. If I'm not crafting you can usually find me in the kitchen cooking or baking or chatting with friends over a large pot of tea.
Whilst I'd be delighted if you take inspiration from my projects, please do not directly copy my designs for entry into competitions and challenges.
