Ooh, Suits You Sir!

This was my project from our Monday night craft session with the girlies; last week we all played with these fabby Xcut suit dies of my Mum's, I used Papermania, Heritage Press papers (yes, another new paper purchase!) which have been designed to compliment the dies, along with some embossed grey card, done with an Embossalicious folder, and inked with black ink.
This card was very much inspired by the cover project in the latest copy of Creativity Magazine, designed by the super talented Beckie Dreyer.
I used a dark charcoal Core'dinations cardstock for the suit jacket, as it has a lovely, fabric-like texture, using foam pads for some of the layering to add dimension.  I used plain white card to add a crisp, white shirt and I used the accessory dies to create a jacket button, a pocket top, a vibrant red tie and a carnation buttonhole.  There are loads of accessories in the set so that you can make the outfit formal of casual, and the dies cut really well too.
I kept the embellies to a minimum as this is for a man, simply finishing with a stamped greeting, done with a Papermania stamp, and a trio of black buttons, real ones this time rather than die cut.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
A Creative Romance - One for the Boys
Crafts 4 Eternity - #176 - Use a Die
Craftitude - #65 - That's Die-Licious
Wags 'n' Whiskers - #129 - One for the Boys
Papercrafting Journey - For That Special Man - This is for my Step-dad's birthday
Simon Says Stamp - Die Crazy
Incy Wincy - Birthdays
Through The Purple Haze - #31 - Anything Goes with Optional Twist of For a Man
