Blue for a Boy

It was our usual Monday night craft session last night, and after tea and home baked chocolate brownies, we all made baby cards with die cut prams on.  Here's mine, using my Mum's Memory Box pram die that she brought along for us all to use.
The papers are Papermania Capsule Collection in Parisian Blue, to which I've added two shades of blue cardstock.  I embossed the central panel with a Tim Holtz embossing folder for texture and interest.
I kept the embellishments quite simple as it's for a boy and the papers are quite fussy, opting for layered organza and satin ribbon, two buttons, one on top of the other, tied with baker's twine, and some blue gems.  The sentiment was stamped with a Hobby Craft stamp, die cut with spellbinders dies, then glittered with Baby Blue Stickles.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Fan-Tastic Tuesday - #74 - Use Some Buttons
Sister Act - #94 - Anything Goes
Suzy Bee's - #68 - Monochrome
Perfectly Rustics - #42 - Little Boy or Girl
Get Creative - #9 - Embossing
Papertake - Take Your Pick - Cool Colours
Cardz 4 Guyz - #59 - Little Boy Blue
Sweet Sketch 2 - #45 - Sketch
