A Flurry of Snowflakes

Yet another Christmas card!  This was made at our Monday evening crafty get together last week, where we all played with my Mum's Tattered Lace pop up box card dies.  They really make it easy to do this style of card, I have serious die envy, even although I know I can borrow them whenever I like!  I love the effect of these cards, they are a 3D item, yet they fold flat for posting.
I made the box from plain blue cardstock and used a Lili of the Valley paper pad called Frosty Christmas for the matting.  I then went wild with the snowflakes!  Using an Xcut die, set I cut a load of them, in various finishes of mirri, satin board and laser board, in blues and silver, then glued some to the box and some to each other, to create the blizzard I ended up with.  I added a sentiment with a Tonic die, which just happened to be the perfect size.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Shopping Our Stash - #328 - Bent Out Of Shape (Shaped Cards)
Crafting From The Heart - #98 - Anything Goes
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - #27 - Anything Goes
Inspiration Destination - #72 - Anything Goes
