Vintage Sewing

I'm on a roll at the moment, I just can't stop crafting!  I had a week where I wasn't able to craft because of tendonitis and my poor old creative brain went into meltdown with ideas.  I've been able to craft again for a week and I'm still working through all my ideas and spending far too long enjoying myself when I should really be doing other things.
This one was me playing with my new mini sewing machine again and I went with a dressmaker theme.
The papers are magazine freebies, the nicest free stack for ages and the lace mat was made with a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page set.  I've coloured this and the scalloped blank with Antique Linen Distress Ink.
The tailor's dummy is a Tim Holtz Sizzix die called Sewing Room.  I cut it from Bazzil card and painted it with Distress Paint in Rock Candy, which is clear, for an aged look.  I then simply wrapped round some lace and ribbon to make a bodice.
The tape measure is part of a Personal Impressions sewing themed stamp set which I stamped and rolled up the end.
The buttons are from the big bag of loveliness which is the Boofle assortment, and is a bargain at £3 for a big bag.
A scattering of gems and pearls add to the random look.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
The Ribbon Carousel - must use spooled item - anything goes
The Secret Crafter - #178 - shabby/vintage
One Stitch at a time - #106 - anything goes
Card Makin' Mamas - buttons
