I used double sided scrapbook paper for this card but I can't remember what make it is. I added a lacy border made with a Martha Stewart punch to the pocket edge and applied some Diamond Stickles for a hint of bling.
The flower was made with my trusty Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die and was spritzed with Cosmic Shimmer mica spray in a plum colour. The sheen is quite subtle but adds a richness to the burgundy cardstock. The centre was created by sprinkling seed beads round a pink flat backed pearl set in the middle of a pool of Anita's 3D Gloss. The leaves were die cut with a Cuttlebug die and were then scored and shaped for realism.
The tag was made from cardstock with a Lili of the Valley sentiment stamp. The message can be written on the back of the tag, leaving the inside pocket for a gift card, cash or even another tag.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Divas by Design - #41 - tag, you're it
Crafty Cardmakers - #71 - handmade flowersPile it On - #26 - make your own embellishment
265 Cards - #120 - add sparkle or shine in two ways. I used shimmer spray and glitter glue

ReplyDeleteHi Wendy, so sorry I've not been by for ages - real life totally took over from bloglife and I've not had time to create or bloghop at all.
ReplyDeleteHopefully I'll have more time in the next few weeks to come by and visit you more often to get my fix of your beautiful cards. You've made some fab boys cards just lately too along with your gorgeous girlie makes.
Hope you have a good weekend.
