I'm really enjoying my month as guest designer for
Beccy's Place, her images are so much fun to work with. Here's my third card, this time I used this gorgeous robin image to make an easel card, it's available in Beccy's digi shop from today.
The image has been coloured with Promarkers and the edge of the topper was gently inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink to soften the white and fit in better with the vintage papers I wanted to use. The papers are Papermania, left from last year, the sentiment tag is from the latest Docrafts goody bag, to which I've attached some gold ribbon with a holly brad. I echoed the holly in the image with a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page set and distressed the edges of the topper and mats with my Tim Holtz tool to add to the shabby, vintage look. I added a bit of sparkle with more gold ribbon and a multi loop bow and finished with some dark red pearls and gems.
