Fussy and Fancy DT Card

It's challenge time again over at Fussy and Fancy, this fortnight our theme is "Feeling Blue", so have a good old rummage through your stash and see what blue items you have!

Mum and I had a lovely afternoon playing with this stunning Imagination Crafts stamp.  I began by stamping in Perfect Medium onto white card then dusting over with Pan Pastels in blue and grey.  Next, I went in with a silver gel pen and picked out the leaves and squiggly border.  The dove was then stamped onto Lili of the Valley Frosty Christmas paper in black ink, fussy cut and layered on with foam pads for a bit of dimension.  I added a few tiny clear gems as berries on the branches.
The star background was created by adhering stiff organza fabric, which has gorgeous dimensional stars on, to some subtly patterned paper from the same Lili of the Valley paper pack.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set as the image.  All I needed to finish my card was a double layer of ribbon, a bow and a few dark blue pearls on the sentiment.
