Friends are Lifetime Treasures

My lovely friend, Donna, bought me a gorgeous pack of Papermania Persimmon goodies as a thank you present.  Flowers or chocolates are nice but what crafter wouldn't want yummy new stash instead?!
I made this card for a friendship swap over on Docrafts, it's so nice to get something in the post that isn't a bill, hospital appointment or junk.
The papers, stickers, tag and ribbon are all from my fab Persimmon set and the die cut is Tim Holtz, kindly cut for me by my Docrafts buddy Julie, thanks hun.  I coloured it with Distress Ink in Antique Linen.
The Tatty Button stamp has been in my stash for a while, but I've only used her once before.  Too many stamps.  Me.  Never!  I coloured her with Promarkers and added some sparkle to her dress with Stickles in Dark Blue.  The edges of the topper were distressed with Antique Linen as well and all the layers were given the distress tool treatment for a shabby look.
Some Papermania gem brads add a bit of bling and the final touches are the Boofle buttons.
